Here in Grand Rapids westsiders always say, the West side is the best side. Now, it's even better, because it's finally open. The "it" is Bridge Street Market  which opened it's doors to customers yesterday.

Our news partner, WZZM13 reports the 37,000 square foot store is on the corner of Bridge St. and Seward Ave. on Grand Rapids' West side. The market features Michigan-specific elements like reclaimed wood and historic neighborhood brick.

This Meijer store is not a Superstore. The first-of-its-kind store in the area has an emphasis on local, artisan groceries, lots of fresh produce, as well as Meijer brand products. The store has a huge wine/beer and liqueur department along with a wine steward to help guide you in your selection. There is also a Mayan Buzz Café.

Parking is available on the main level of a connected parking deck.
