Meijer LPGA Classic at Blythfield Country Club is Full of Fun and Food, and Golf, too
This years Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give at Blythfield Country Club is one of the most fun events in the West Michigan area. Fourty Three of the top fifty women golfers in the world are here this weekend, and all of the top ten players and money winners are here. What does that mean? You can watch the best women's golf in the world. But, there is more to this years tournament than ever before.
Meijer, and the LPGA wanted to make this event a real "happening" and a total experience for all the fans. Thus, enter The Grand Taste.
Between hole 11 and 16, they have literally built a city of food and beverage, along with spectacular views of the course and players. Open Friday through Sunday, it is a three day tasting event. Tickets start at just $25 for adults and $5 for kids 17 and under. The experience includes local restaurants and breweries as well as Meijer – Meijer is doing a lot of great stuff – you really don’t want to miss it.
You'll find Founders, Bell’s, Arcaida, Brewery Vivant, Perrin Jolly Pumpkin … some of the restaurants include: Divani, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Honey Creek Inn Fish Lads, The Reserve, Blue Dog Tavern & Yesterdog … just to name a few. One last thing, it's air conditioned! With huge air conditioning unites brought in, they're able to cool the Grand Taste even while it's open-air to the course.
