Forget a mile. You should try to walk 21 miles in this guy's shoes.

James Robertson, of Detroit, recently received a new car after word got out the factory worker had spent the last decade walking about 21 miles to and from work while also taking the bus each day after his old car broke down, The Detroit Free Press reported.

A local college student, Evan Leedy got wind of Robertson's plight and set up a GoFundMe page, which has raised about $351,000.

Robertson is now getting help with investing that money.

A Ford dealership jumped into the fray with and gave him a Taurus, which Robertson likes because, "It's like me: simple on the outside, strong on the inside."
