How many times have you visited Mackinac Island? I personally love Mackinac Island and have been there over a dozen times.

It is one of the most beautiful destinations in the state of Michigan. What's not to love? There's so much history and so much to learn while visiting the island, as well as their famous Mackinac Island fudge, horse drawn carriage rides, and so much more.

Are you familiar with the beloved "Brigadoon Cottage?" It caught on fire back in 2021 and it was devastating to watch. Take a look below.

That was then and this is now. Great news to pass along to everyone, the beautiful Brigadoon Cottage has been rebuilt and it's up and running full speed ahead.

The owners of Brigadoon Cottage couldn't be more happy. This is one of the first areas that you see once you arrive on Mackinac Island. It sits right across the harbor.

Mlive.com tells us:

In these last few weeks, owners Janet and Jay Stingel have been able to walk on their front yard of freshly-laid sod, flanked by new flowerbeds - a spot that last year was covered with soot and debris. They can touch a favorite chandelier and family photos that last May firefighters were snatching up and carrying out of the house in a heroic scramble to save the family’s items on the lower floors as the top floor and its signature turret burned.

The next time you plan a trip to Mackinac Island, take the time to check out Brigadoon Cottage so you can see for yourself how beautiful this place truly is.
