I LOVE the Fulton Street Farmer's Market.  In case you haven't heard last year was the first year that I purchased all local all summer long from the Farmer's Market.  $5-$10 a week or every other week.  I blanched it and froze it.  Nothing like eating sweet Michigan asparagus all winter long.  Do yourself a favor and invest in a freezer and do the same.  It's cheaper, it's better for our community, it's fresher, it's greener because we're not wasting gas to get it here (average produce travels 1,500 miles to get here.)  Start saving money NOW!  Fulton Street Farmer's Market Summer hours this weekend!
