One of the true treasures of Christmas is a live nativity scene.  It's our opportunity to be closer to the true meaning of Christmas with the birth of Jesus Christ.

On Saturday, Dec. 31, the Instruments of Hope's Annual Nativity will be held in the Saint Francis of Assisi  Sculpture Garden at Marywood.

Located at 2025 Fulton Street East in Grand Rapids, the Dominican Center will host a wonderful cast, including a donkey, calf, sheep and goats as well as special guests! To complete the manger scene, a camel and llama will be there, too.

It begins at 3 p.m., and hot chocolate and donuts will be available after the event. It is FREE.

This will be something special for the whole family, so get there early.
