Justin Timberlake Offered Role as Folk Singer in Coen Brothers Movie
Justin Timberlake hasn’t been making a whole lot of music since catching the acting bug, but it looks like the six-time Grammy winner will at least be playing a musician in an upcoming film.
According to Variety, the Coen Brothers have offered the thirty-year-old a role in their movie ‘Inside Llwyn,’ which is based on the ’60s era folk music scene in Greenwich Village, NY. Timberlake would portray a folk singer named Jim, who is married to a character played by Carey Mulligan.
Timberlake hasn’t released an album since 2006′s ‘FutureSex/Love Sounds.’ His latest movie, the sci-fi thriller ‘In Time,’ opened Friday and finished second at the box office with a $12 million take.
