Grand Rapids’ Jordan Carson To Sing National Anthem at Detroit Lions Game

We're all looking forward to the Detroit Lions second game of the season this Sunday at Ford Field. After all, we beat Kansas City, the Chiefs, on their home field so what's not the get excited about with the Seattle Seahawks coming to town. What do you think, win number two? Huh?

However, before the game begins there is the National Anthem and many are super excited since former WOOD TV personality Jordan Carson will be singing. How exciting not only for Jordon and her family but for all of West Michigan. The game will be on Fox, Fox17 here in West Michigan, and we can only hope Fox doesn't cut away to squeeze a few more commercials in.

Did you know this isn't the first time Jordon has sung the National Anthem at a major league game.

In August she sang at a Miami Marlins baseball game. Boy, does she have the pipes for it, too.

The Lions tap many performers to sing/play the national anthem. The one and only Aretha Franklin has sung before a game. Another game Mike Phillips did an amazing saxophone rendition as well. Singer Britney Holmes has sung the anthem, and even Taylor Swift sang the anthem before a Lions-Dolphins game.
