Yelp compiled a list of the 50 best bakeries in the United States to satisfy your sweet tooth. Tough assignment right? Yelp used data to compile this list through expert opinions of site reviewers referred to as "the Yelp Elite Squad."

What Bakery Was Named the Best in Michigan?

According to Yelp's list of the "Best Bakery in Every State", the honor goes to the legendary Shatila Bakery in Dearborn. Founded by Riad Shatila in 1979, the bakery has become a staple for anyone in Michigan looking for authentic Mediterranean pastries and so much more.

I can completely attest to the fact that their Baklawa is the best you'll find anywhere, and they have additional locations in Dearborn Heights and West Bloomfield as well.
