It happens every year at this time, and even though he never seems to go anywhere, the media goes nuts speculating about it.

I Honestly Have No Idea Where Harbaugh Will Go, But Let's Play 'WWJHD'

The local media goes nuts every year, asking themselves and us, What Will Jim Harbaugh Do?

I'm not really sure I know for sure, but if the past few years are any indication, he'll milk this for everything it's worth. He'll take meetings with NFL teams, he'll field offers from said teams and weigh them out for what's best for his family in the long run (wouldn't you?), and then he'll decide to stay for a few more years as the head coach at Michigan.

It's like this every January. Why would this January be any different?

Is there really a good NFL job available that would be worth leaving the still immensely talented Wolverines?

Not really.

Will the speculation? Not in the least.

Last Year It Was The Vikings, This Year It's The Broncos And The Panthers

Harbaugh interviewed with the Vikings following the 2021 campaign, and could you imagine if the Vikes had this late season collapse they're having right now with Harbaugh at the helm. His haters would be having a field day.

This year the rumor mill seems to be circulating around open jobs at Carolina with the Panthers and Denver, where the Broncos underachieved this season.

Both teams offer huge challenges to ever takes the reins, more than Jim, who would be stacked pretty good at Michigan next season, would really want to take on.

Let's see he returns All-American running back and Heisman contender Blake Corum, quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who not only completed 64 percent of his passes, but showed flashes of immense talent down the stretch after Corum went out injured.

A pretty stout defense (at least until the playoffs) returns big names like Jaylen Harrell, Braiden McGregor, and Eyabi Okie. The team also added Josaiah Stewart from Coastal Carolina via the transfer portal.

So yeah, someone could tangle massive bucks in front of Jim, but I don't think he's going anywhere.
