How to Listen to the Detroit Tigers on the Radio in West Michigan This Season

The Detroit Tigers have a new radio home in West Michigan starting this season, as well. The games can now only be heard on your radio on Sports Radio 98.7.

Detroit Tigers New Television Home

Recently, the Tigers announced that they are moving to a new television home after the club (along with others) severed their ties with FanDuel.

Tigers games (and starting next season, Red Wings games) will now be available via Detroit SportsNet, which was formed by the Illitch family, who own both the Tigers and the Red Wings.

How Much Does Detroit SportsNet Cost?

Subscriptions for the service are either $19.99 per month or you can purchase an annual subscription for $189.99 per year. It's important to note that the annual subscription is only available to those who live in the home television territories for both the Tigers and the Red Wings. (Thankfully for West Michiganders, that's all of us.)

The Tigers have pulled off a miracle comeback of a season to make it into the playoffs. The West Michigan Whitecaps is an affiliate of the Tigers, so how many players on the Tigers used to play on the Whitecaps? Turns over half the team has been on the Whitecaps, with 15 players on the current Tigers having spent time here in West Michigan.
