While we may not be the tropical paradise that most people think of when planning vacations, Michigan has an abundance of water (not just the Great Lakes, but more than 11,000 inland lakes). So, it makes sense that there are a ton of water-related companies and activities throughout the state.

One of the newest attractions on the Michigan waterways is making a big splash in South Haven.

Cruisin' Tikis in South Haven

This is the inaugural year for Cruisin' Tikis in South Haven, and it seems they've been pretty busy.

While Cruisin' Tikis is a chain, locations are run by franchisees. The bulk of these fun little boats can be found in locations across Florida, but now we get to enjoy them here in West Michigan!

The experience seems pretty simple. Each tiki boat fits six guests. You simply book your date and timeslot (each cruise is 90 minutes.) For $50 per person, you'll get the 90 minute boat ride complete with a captain and a cooler for your beverages. Just bring your own drinks, perhaps a snack, and good vibes, and you're good to go.

Other Fun Boat Experiences in Michigan

Cruisin' Tikis isn't the only way to experience the Michigan waterways in a unique way. There are a bunch of other options, including the Retro Boat Rentals in Saugatuck, this cool vintage paddlewheel boat tour (also in Saugatuck), the Grand Lady Riverboat, and more!
