Froot Loops Celebrates Michigan’s Big Win, Here’s How To Get Your Box
The entire state of Michigan is celebrating after the University of Michigan won the college football national championship against Washington State on Monday January 8th.
Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum rushed for 238 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead Michigan to a memorable 34-13 win over Washington.
The game was amazing, we all screamed, and Ann Arbor partied like it was 1997 (aka: the last time Michigan won the national title.)
And now Battle Creek, Michigan based Kelloggs is getting in on the celebration by offering a special edition cereal box for Michiganders to snag.
Kellogg's is turning up the celebration with an exclusive limited-edition Froot Loops box!
On the front of the box you'll see 'Go Bloo,' as well as Toucan Sam surrounded by 'Championship loops,'. The entire box is themed with maize and blue, and has the iconic Michigan winged helmet, and even the spirited 'Hail to the Victors' fight song.
While the themed loops on the box look tasty, this special box is all about the celebration and doesn't actually contain any Froot Loops. The sleeve will still look great on the shelf or a part of your collection (and at least you don't have to worry about it going bad.)
Grab yours quickly because there are only 1,000 of these special boxes up for grabs. They're priced at $18.17 in a nod to the founding year of the University of Michigan.
So, if you're a die-hard Wolverines fan or just want a piece of this limited-edition action, snatch one up before they're gone. They're for sale right now in the Kelloggs online store.
