
Michigan Goodwill’s Bizarre Find Sparks National Buzz and Police Search
A Michigan Goodwill location is getting some national attention for an item recently found in a donation pile.

On January 26, an officer responded to the Goodwill store on South Main Street in Chelsea after staff reported a “suspicious item” found in the donation drop-off area.
When the officer arrived, they discovered that wrapped up in a T-shirt was a human skull.

You read that right — not a leftover Halloween skull decoration from Halloween USA, but a real human skull.
What Does Goodwill Do?
Goodwill accepts donated items and sells them to fund job training and placement opportunities.
For every dollar spent at Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids stores, 90 cents goes directly toward job training and placement services for those in need within our local communities.

The Chelsea Police Department took to social media to ask the public for help identifying the woman they believe donated the human skull.
I’m pretty sure the woman police are looking for didn’t kill someone and keep the skull around the house as a decoration.

My best guess is that someone, way back in the day, either brought home a skull from war or purchased it in another country and managed to bring it back without it being confiscated.
Human skulls are not the only thing that Michigan Goodwill does not accept.
