In a statement post to its LinkedIn page, Stryker acknowledged the cyberattack and said it was working to learn more.
“Stryker is experiencing a global network disruption to our Microsoft environment as a result of a cyber attack, We have no indication of ransomware or malware and believe the incident is contained. Our teams are working to rapidly understand the impact of the attack on our systems.”
The hacking group Handala confirmed the cyberattack in a post to X.
Why Did The Hackers Target Stryker
Handala claimed responsibility as retaliation for a reported U.S.- or Israel-linked strike in Iran, calling it the start of a "new chapter of cyber warfare."
