A lucky lottery player who bought a ticket for Monday night's Powerball drawing might not have won the 1.3 billion dollar jackpot, but they should be somewhat happy that they matched five white balls which netted them $1,000,000.

According to the Michigan Lottery the lucky winner bought the ticket at a CVS in Grosse Pointe.
The winning numbers for Monday nights Powerball drawing were 8-23-25-40-53-5.

This lucky winner wasn't the only person to win on Monday night.
Six Michigan players matched four of the five white balls and matched the Powerball; three won $50,000, while three had added the Power Play and won $150,000.
Outside of Michigan nine players in eight other states also won $1 million, according to the Powerball website, while two won $2 million after matching the five balls with a Power Play.

When Is The Next Powerball Drawing
The next Powerball drawing will take place on Wednesday night with an estimated jackpot of $1.3 billion.
If you were able to have the incredible luck and win, you could either take the money in annual payments for the full amount or do what a many lottery winners end up doing and taking a cash payout which is less than the full amount won.
If you elected to do the cash option you would end up with around $589,000,000.
While it's not a billion dollars I bet I could find a way to get by.
