Wonderful Ford Presidential Museum Honoring Jimmy Carter’s Life and Legacy
The world has lost a great man and leader with the death of former President Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States, at the age of 100.
A sense of sadness has consumed many around the world with the passing of the former President.

APnews.com reported that tributes and honors are coming from around the world including a heartfelt message from President Joe Biden who says he lost a dear friend.
"The world lost an “extraordinary leader, statesman and humanitarian.” Biden cited Carter’s work to eradicate disease, forge peace, advance civil and human rights, promote free and fair elections and house the homeless as an example for others."
The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library & Museum is commemorating the life and contributions of this remarkable leader with a new display and memorial pieces for the public to sign, the museum's Facebook post said.
The Ford Presidential Museum said there are now Memorial books available for the public to sign inside the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library in Ann Arbor, from now until the day of his interment. As is tradition, the books will be sent to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum in Atlanta, GA.
President Joe Biden has declared January 9th a national day of mourning for the former President, USAToday.com reported.
The White House also confirmed that Carter will be honored with a state funeral in Washington on that day, where he will lie in state inside the U.S. Capitol. A formal state funeral will then be held at the Washington National Cathedral. Funeral arrangements leading up to next Monday will include a motorcade visit to his childhood home in Archery, Georgia, and the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta. He will then lie in repose for two days at the Carter Center in Atlanta.
