The previous record for a beard chain was set in Germany in 2007. The beard chain was 62 feet and six inches.

However, this year's beard chain breaks the record by a landslide.

What is the new record?

The men clipped their beards together and created a beard chain that was 150 feet long.

That means this beard chain is one inch away from being the same size as the most iconic American statue.

This group of men stood together for 31 seconds. They could secure their spot in the Guinness World Record.

However, according to USA Today, Kylie Galloway, who is a spokesperson for Guinness World Records says that they have not received an application from the winners for the title and the attempt.

No worries! The men are eligible to apply through Guinness' website but it could take anywhere from 12 to 15 weeks to be reviewed.
