
Grand Rapids Opens Summer Cooling Centers: Everything You Need to Know
While the temperatures have dipped below sweltering this week, we West Michiganders know that summer hasn't even begun, and more hot temps are on the way. The City of Grand Rapids knows that, too, and has officially announced the opening of its cooling centers for this summer.

These centers will offer community members respite from the sweltering heat of a West Michigan summer.

The city recommends calling ahead to confirm if a location is, in fact, open. You can also get up-to-date information by dialing 2-1-1.
