How fast do you thing you would react if you were on a bus full of kids and the bus driver passed out? Yikes! What would you do? I might have been screaming as the kids were!

This was the case in Warren, Michigan when many middle school students were riding the school bus heading home when their bus driver suffered a medical emergency while behind the wheel.

The incident happened on Masonic Boulevard near Bunert Road in Warren near Detroit as students from Carter Middle School were heading home.

Is that amazing or what! This is as if Keanu Reeves jumped into action!

The Warren police and fire departments also quickly jumped into action, making sure all the students were safe, and they were.

There no doubt that the quick action of Dillion averted injuries and most likely saved many lives of the students and bus driver.

This a happened a couple of days ago, this past Wednesday, April 26.

Needless to say Dillion is being hailed a hero as he should be. After all, how many seventh graders do you know have the where-with-all to jump from their seat, help a passed-out bus driver and bring a huge school bus to a safe stop?

Something cool also happened yesterday at the Reeves home. Dillon's mom, Ireta Reeves, said someone decorated their yard with signs to thank him for his quick thinking. How sweet is that!

The Warren Police Department will be presenting Dillion an award as well.

What a brave young man Dillion is. I can't wait to see what his future will bring!
