Few things are more exciting as a kid than waking up to find out you have a snow day. Learning you had a snow day used to consist of me sitting in front of the TV all morning hoping and praying that my school would show up at the bottom of the screen. The anticipation was real.
It was always just a run-of-the-mill message like

However, a small school in Kalamazoo has taken an approach that is both informative and funny to their Snow Day announcements.

The school in question is Tree of Life School in Kalamazoo, MI, a Christian school located in the Edison Neighborhood of Kalamazoo. Scrolling on the school's website you get an idea that the school likes to have fun, stating that God was quoted saying, "I want a Christian school in the inner city of Kalamazoo, and I want it to be affordable to anyone." which is quite funny.
