
City of Grand Rapids Hosting Job Fairs for Parks and Rec Positions
The City of Grand Rapids is gearing up to open the new community center at MLK Park Feb. 21, so that means there are plenty of job opportunities up for grabs!

Upcoming Job Fair Dates and Locations
To fill these positions, and others roles within the Parks and Recreation Department, two job fairs are coming up. They'll take place Wednesday, January 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday, January 29 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Both events will be held at Neland Avenue Church, 940 Neland Ave SE.

At the job fairs, you'll be able to meet with hiring managers, learn about open positions, and even take part in an on-the-spot interview.
Positions Available with Parks and Recreation
So what's available? The City of Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department is currently hiring:
- Program Leads
- Building Attendants
- Customer Service Representatives
- Fitness Instructors
- Youth Instructors
- Gear Library Coordinator
- Park Maintenance
- Pool Maintenance
- Pool Attendants
Pay ranges from $13 to $20 per hour.
