Grand Rapids Ranked Among Top Ten ‘Beer Snob’ Cities in U.S.
Well, they don't call Grand Rapids "Beer City USA" for nothing!
It's no secret that Grand Rapids, Mich. is great for beer, with some of the top rated breweries in the country. In fact, two Grand Rapids beers just took home medals at the World Beer Cup. Michigan was also recently ranked the No. 1 state for beer lovers - and Grand Rapids once again nabbed the title of "Best Beer City in the U.S."
But are Grand Rapids residents beer snobs?
According to a new study - yes.
The study from Neilson Prime Lingo, as reported by the Seattle News finds that Grand Rapids is the No. 5 beer snob city in the U.S., with 31.9% of residents over 21 consuming a microbrew or craft beer in the last 30 days.
