As I mentioned earlier, the edges of some leaves are already losing some of that green, turning a slight yellow. But according to explorefall.com, which provides an interactive map estimating fall foliage colors, most trees will have yellow in them by the last day of September.

This is just an estimate; it should be noted that if we get some fall storms, especially ones with high winds, we could be stripped of leaf viewing season.
