Grand Rapids Korean BBQ Restaurant is Making a Comeback
After a temporary closure, a Grand Rapids Korean BBQ joint is set to reopen.
I'll admit, when I first saw the posting, I had not realized Emonae Korean BBQ had closed. It first opened in Cascade Township at 6246 28th St SE Suite A in 2016.
It's still listed as "temporarily closed" on Facebook - but it appears that is about to change!
At Emonae Korean BBQ, diners grill all the meats they can eat, plus the restaurant serves traditional Korean dishes.
While I've never been to this location on 28th St., I have been to another restaurant owned by the same folks, K-Rock Korean BBQ and Karaoke downtown Grand Rapids, which opened in late 2021.
Posts to Emonae Korean BBQ's Facebook page stopped in fall of 2021.
According to an update on Google, the restaurant has been closed for remodeling.
A Facebook post in Nov. 2023 announced:
Emonae is Reopening VERY SOON!
We now know when the restaurant is set to be back in business!
Emonae Korean BBQ's grand re-opening is Feb. 7, 2024.
The owners say,
We are back and Re-Opening! Please come join us on Wednesday February 7th to celebrate.
Hours listed for the grand re-opening Feb. 7 are 12p.m. to 8p.m.
