Is Grand Rapids Worse Than Others When It Comes To Allergies?

I remember when I first moved to Grand Rapids a number of people told me, "Grand Rapids is one of the worst places you could live if you have allergies."  It had to do with the location and the proximity of water and some other things I cannot remember:)  BUT, here's a few things that can help you out if you're just like me!
