The Kent County Department of Health and Human Services (KDHHS) needs your help providing a magical Christmas experience to foster families in the area.

Every year, KDHHS puts together a Holiday Wish List of items that foster families need for the holidays. You can find the Holiday Wish List on Amazon, so it is super easy to shop for the kids and families in need.

During the holiday season, the foster system in West Michigan will experience dozens of new cases and often times the foster children are placed into a new home at a moments notice. When a new child enters the foster system, they are coming in with very little other than some clothes and maybe a few toys. You can make a child feel loved and appreciated with a small donation of a gift that they can have for the holiday season. And the COVID-19 pandemic has made it even harder for foster families in the area, so every little bit helps.

So, when you are out shopping this year, you can help local foster families have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Just logon to Amazon.com and visit the KDHHS Holiday Wish List and pick on a gift. All of the gifts are delivered right to the Kent County Department of Health and are ready to go as soon asn
