Grand Rapids Heart Walk To Be Held October 12

The American Heart Association's Annual Heart Walk is coming up next Saturday, October 12, in downtown Grand Rapids.  The site is in front of the Ford Museum.  Hundreds will be walking in support of the Heart Association, and 100.5 The River is very proud to be a media sponsor again this year.

On Thursday morning's "Andy in the Morning" show, Adrea Kennett, Heart Walk Director, and Jim Oldfield, a heart attack survivor, were on the show promoting the walk and heart disease.  Jim had a compelling story of the heart attack that affected his life.
