See the National Weather Service winter weather forecast for Grand Rapids in 2015 - 2016.

El Nino is expected to have a major effect on weather this winter in West Michigan and beyond. The outlook is good for those hoping for a less severe winter.

The map below shows all of Michigan in areas most likely to see a warmer-than-average winter. The further north you go the more likely it is that you will see warmer-than-average temperatures.

West Michigan is also expected to see a drier-than-average winter. Almost the entire state has the same probability of seeing less snow than average this winter.
