The Grand Rapids Symphony closes it 82nd Season with a collaborative collage concert.

This weekend, at 8 pm, Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, David Lockington will lead two performances of "Heavens Above, Earth Below," along with combining dances of the Grand Rapids Ballet Company, two world premieres - one a tribute to former First Lady Betty Ford - and the epic "Alpine Symphony."

Every aspect of this concert presents a surprise for the audience.  Lockington said, "I've always loved this kind of collage program where you are on the edge of your seat, wondering what is going to happen next."
