There's nothing jollier than Christmas in Grand Rapids. In fact, Shari's Berries has named Grand Rapids the jolliest city in America.

Shari's Berries used six factors to determine which city was the jolliest of the 200 largest cities in the country: safety, food banks, bakeries, Christmas events, cost of living and Christmas tree farms.

Shari's Berries shares some of the reasons Grand Rapids topped the list:

The city has one of the the highest numbers of food pantries per capita out of all 200 cities we looked at. It also tied with Salt Lake City in terms of unemployment and has the best cost of living index out of the whole top 10.

San Francisco was second and Portland, OR was third on the top ten list.

A few cities around Grand Rapids were just named among the worst cities for people who are dating, but it looks like we are still pretty jolly!
