East Grand Rapids, Kentwood and Wyoming Among Worst Cities for Dating

RoadSnacks says West Michigan is home to a few of the worst cities for dating in Michigan.

You may need extra mistletoe if you are dating and you live in East Grand Rapids, Kentwood or Wyoming.

How exactly does one decide which cities are the best or worst for dating?

Here's how RoadSnacks decided:

1. Population density (higher is better)
2. Lots of single people
3. Lots of people without kids
4. Lots of places to meet people (coffee shops, bars, restaurants and churches per capita)

East Grand Rapids topped the list of worst cities for dating in Michigan.

EGR had the fewest churches and second lowest number of restaurants, per capita, of all the cities measured.

3. Wyoming
4. Beverly Hills
5. Kentwood
6. Grosse Pointe Woods
7. Muskegon Heights
8. Rochester Hills
9. Grosse Pointe Park
10. Sterling Heights

Big Rapids and Kalamazoo made the list of the ten best cities for dating, but no cities closer to Grand Rapids cracked the top ten.
