The Grand Haven Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Grand haven Farmer's Market today from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a special twist.The North Ottawa Community Health System will have their Market Education Station there to help kids, families and moms get into the Farmer's Market world.  They want to make it cool, fun and easy to eat healthy. NOCH is all about local, locally sourced food, local health care, locally grown food for all-around good community health.

Local celebrity chef of Consider It Done Catering, Chef Ellen.  she will prepare two or three dishes that are cost effective, especially for back-to-school, and are fresh.

They'll have a scavenger hunt for the kids.  Each child will be given a card and bag and they have to find something in the farmer's market that has every color in the rainbow (5). They'll get a prize for completing the hunt.

Dr. Kyle Kramer, family practice doctor will be on hand to talk about immunization along with a local dietitian sharing info on foods that boot your immune system.
