GR Bike Park Now ‘Ready to Shred’ With New Features, More to Come
It's been a busy spring at GR Bike Park with ongoing work and improvements being made. Some of the work is now done and open to riders with more to come soon.
The West Michigan Mountain Bike Association announced on Monday that things are coming along nicely at GR Bike Park. All three pump tracks and the kid's loop are "ready to shred." As of Sunday, June 2, people were being asked to stay off the trail at GR Bike Park. Plans are to open the trail on June 18.
Work on the jumplines is planned to be completed on Wednesday night, June 5. Volunteers are welcome to help from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
If you were at GR Bike Park last year or in the past, you know that these upgrades were needed. These changes will blow your mind, but it's just the beginning. More changes and improvements are planned for another phase of the project which will require additional fundraising.
That beam you see in the photo is 18 inches wide.
Good luck?
