During Governor Whitmer's press conference on Friday, she announced plans to start a 'relaxing' of the stay at home order on May 1st.

According to the press conference, she hopes to start opening businesses that would be considered low-risk as well as opening some regions that have not been hit hard by the virus.  This is all "depending on what the data tells us" she told viewers during the 45 minute long press conference.

The Detroit Free Press reported that the details of the of the "relaxing" of the stay at home order could come in press conferences to be held on Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday.

This news, however, is in contrast to what the Governor had mentioned on Wednesday after the "Operation Gridlock" protest when she said "We know that this rally endangered people.  This kind of activity will put more people at risk and sadly, it could prolong we have to be in this posture."

So, as of right now, I think that it is probably safe to say that nothing is set in stone and the press conferences next week will shed more light on the Michigan government's plan to start sending people back to work.
