Not even a week after Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer ordered restaurants and bars to close to dine-in service, she has extended the closures. All Michigan dining establishments must now remain closed to dine-in service through April 13, 2020.

Many establishments throughout West Michigan remain open for carry-out and delivery. You can check out a full list of those establishments on our website or by clicking the button below.

On Saturday, Governor Whitmer announced that all salons (nail, hair, tattoo, massage, etc.) must close their doors until April 13. At that time, many thought that she would extend the restaurant/bar closures as well. She also announced on Saturday that the ban on gatherings of more than 50 people does not apply to churches.

Several states around the country have ordered a shelter-in-place, but Governor Whitmer has continued to stress that she does not believe that that is necessary in Michigan.
