With recent business growth and new development on Grand Rapids’ West Side, this seems like the perfect time to celebrate. So, Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids is hosting an inaugural walk and block party this Saturday, October 3, to celebrate positive changes and create a renewed sense of community in the neighborhood. The event also aims to build relationships between businesses and organizations on the West Side and highlight the cancer and grief support programs offered by Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids’.

The West Side Walk for Gilda’s is this weekend, Saturday, October 3, at Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids, 1806 Bridge St. NW, and features a 1.5 mile walk and block party. The free community event starts and ends at the Gilda’s Clubhouse and is open to everyone, regardless of fitness level.

The walk is free, but Gilda's Club will happily accept donations and funds you raise by participating in the walk.
