A giant slip n’ slide will be set up on the hill at Rosewood Park in Jenison on Saturday, June 16!

It's one of several summer events being planned for the day.

Kids love celebrating summer in the water! A hose or sprinkler at home can be endlessly entertaining. And we've all tried setting up a homemade slip n' slide with mixed results thanks to scratchy tarps and a bruise-inducing yard.

On Saturday, June 16, get out of the house to enjoy a slip n' slide that's longer than any you've ever attempted to set up at home.

Saturday Slip N' Slide is being hosted by City2Shore Real Estate from noon until 5:00 p.m. on June 16. There will be four 150-foot-long water slides set up on the hill. Participants must sign a waiver and pay $1 to get a wristband for unlimited sliding and activities. Other activities include a toddler water park, bounce houses, dunk tanks, clowns, balloons, human foosball, foam pit and more. Money raised will go to support Kids Hope USA.

Additional parking and a shuttle to Rosewood Park will be available at Fair Haven Ministries.
