Food Pyramid Replaced With My Plate. Will This Help Grand Rapids Eat Better?
The food pyramid has been relaced by something called "my plate."
I've been seeing this for the last couple years. A plate sectioned off into how much protein, grains, fruits, dairy and veggies should be on your plate or in front of you. It's more visual so I am guessing this just might work. Unless you are taught you just don't know what proper portion size looks like. I know I didn't. When I went through that weight loss program it was eye opening!
