You have probably heard how Hormel was making a bacon-scented mask, right? Well now, add another "food scented" mask to the list with Chicken!

It stands to reason that since we seriously need to be wearing facemasks during this COVID pandemic in order to stem the tide of the spread of the virus, and the masks are driving all of us crazy, why not appeal to our sense of smell and make us feel good. Enter Hormel's Bacon scented mask and now Jack-in-the-Box Fried Chicken mask!

People magazine's website wrote about these two new facemasks. Sure, we have the fashion-forward masks, homemade masks, patriotic masks, and more. But any facemask can get a little gamey after wearing it for awhile, so let's make it smell good.

Promotionally, Jack-in-the-Box launched a fried chicken-scented face mask to promote their new plant-based offering: the Unchicken sandwich, and giving them away for free on October 23rd, while supplies last, on the company’s website. By the way, Jack-in-the-Box is only out west.

Many companies have produced protective masks over the past few weeks, and they're lovely, and of course protective, but one that smells like my favorite food, that just might be a winner! And, I'm sure that it is only a matter of time before other companies create their own food-scented masks.

What do you think? What would be your go-to scented mask? Hmmm...how about Chocolate? Fish? Uh, NO! Steak? I've got it, Smores! Now you're talking. Wait...Popcorn, Milk Duds, any treat from a movie theatre. Okay, maybe not food, but something that brings back wonderful memories. Fresh cut grass, or a smoke smell from burning leaves in the fall. I'm getting carried away here.

Got it! Spam! Nothing like fried Spam! Ha!
