Just ahead of the 4th of July weekend, a fireworks manufacturer is recalling fireworks that may misfire.

Winco is recalling its Contraband 24 fireworks kit with the model number of JP-933. These kits were sold at fireworks retailers between February and June of this year, and Winco says that the canister tube may be too narrow, so the shell could blow a hole in the canister during firing, posing burn dangers to users and bystanders.

The company has received two reports of problems - one person suffered minor burns and cuts to their legs.

If you have purchased any of the recalled fireworks kits, you should return it to the store you purchased them at for a full refund by Winco. For additional recall information, call (888) 697-2217 or visit Winco's website.
