Donut Heaven Comes to Krispy Kreme Next Week

Krispy Kreme donuts are so simple, and so delicious. We all flock to the bakery here on the East Beltline, and gobble them up from other retail locations. And, to keep our excitement high, they hare been coming out with new flavors. Monday, another new one.

Krispy Kreme is cutting us all some slack and releasing their newest flavor for one-whole week? Nope, not just one day, but this time, one week. And the flavor? Lemon Glaze!

Beginning this coming Monday, April 23 to Sunday, April 29, you can grab all the Lemon Glaze donuts you want. Be still my heart.

The website Delish.com says the lemon donut has a fresh, bright taste to it, with all of the sweetness of the original. If you like lemon pound cake, and more specifically the part that's drizzled with icing, you'll be a fan of these.

There actually was a fan vote in January, and lemon was picked over  caramel, blueberry, and maple.

I can't wait for that big Krispy Kreme sign to light up in their window. Those Lemon Glaze donuts will be coming off the line hot and fresh. Oh, my.
