Disagreement Escalates to Machete Attack at West Michigan Soccer Game
Two men were taken into custody after wielding a machete in a dispute at a Bangor soccer game.
Wood TV 8 reports that police were called to Don Mora Park on N. Center Street around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night on reports that two men were attacking people with the weapon.
The incident stemmed from a disagreement with referees. After a heated argument with the refs, one man handed another the machete and they attacked 3 people, causing minor injuries.
One was taken to the hospital, the other two refused treatment.
