Degage Event for Women at Celebration Cinema North Thursday

Dégagé Ministries invites women in the community to join them at their event, Open Door Open Hearts, on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Celebration! Cinema Wave Room, 2121 Celebration Drive NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. This event is for women, to benefit women. The event will provide attendees with a fun and relaxing evening, including a strolling dinner, speakers and activities, along with concrete ways for how to support women in crisis in their community.

Daily, Dégagé Ministries offers help and hope to 400 – 500 homeless and disadvantaged individuals in the community. Each night, the Open Door Women’s Center provides overnight respite to 40 women; totaling over 2,100 women helped since its opening in 2003. 

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a strolling dinner, food demonstrations, massages, and a chance to build their own dessert, among other fun activities. There will also be a raffle with prizes including VIP passes to Celebration! Cinema, an overnight stay at a local B&B, and more. Guests will also hear from Executive Director, Development Director and a volunteer of the Open Door at Degage Ministries.
