Civic Theatre’s Rapid Delivery Improv Opening at New Location

The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre’s RAPID DELIVERY IMPROV (RDI) is excited to announce new shows at a new performance venue: The Rezervoir Lounge, 1418 Plainfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids.

After a very successful run last fall, during which they were named one of the Top 5 Things to do in Grand Rapids, RDI returns to the stage this February and March with their fast-paced, audience suggested, grown-up improv comedy shows. Director, Bart Sumner, is excited to be at the new location. “The Rezervoir Lounge is a great space for comedy; big stage, drinks and food at user-friendly prices, and Rapid Delivery Improv on stage. Rapid Delivery Improv delivers fast paced comedy shows featuring short form improv, mid-form improv, and musical improv created from audience suggestions. Director Sumner, who teaches Improv Comedy at The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre’s School of Theatre Arts, has over 25 years experience performing, teaching and directing improv/sketch comedy in NYC and Los Angeles.
