We're currently deep into PSL season meaning Halloween isn't that far ahead. In fact, a Facebook friend of mine posted a picture of her Halloween tree that she decorated and sales of Halloween candy for this year are already higher than they were in 2019. So it's safe to say people are in the holiday spirit, despite the pandemic. And truth be told, it isn't technically the season of spooky without some classic Halloween flicks.

Circle Theatre and Wealthy Theatre have teamed up to host two weekends of outdoor Halloween movie nights. Rocky Horror Picture Show kicks off the first one on October 1-3 (Th-Sat) and from October 8-10 Hocus Pocus will be shown. Both movies will be on the lawn outside of Circle Theatre in Grand Rapids.

Bring a picnic blanket, lawn chairs, or whatever makes you feel cozy. There will be a concession stand for popcorn and candy but you're allowed to bring your own picnic-style food. Make your night that much better by hitting up the cash bar for a cocktail. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

The lawn opens at 7 p.m. and there will even be a costume contest at 7:45 p.m. with prizes for winners. Both movies are set to start at 8 p.m.

Purchase your tickets here. Tickets are $15 and support both theaters.

Circle Theater is located at 1703 Robinson Road SE.
