Changes Coming To Diocese Of GR

Noticed this story earlier today and thought you might want to read it.

Changes are coming to the Diocese of GR. That means a handful of churches will close and others will merge. The changes are due, in-part, to the aging of the priests in the Diocese.

At least 19 priests will now serve mass at more than one parish through a series of mergers and clustering some churches together.

St. Dominic will close when its priest retires or can no longer serve mass. Eventually, Our Lady of Sorrows in GR and St. Anthony in Grand Haven will close as well.
