The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will be performing their final concert of the 20141-5 season at St. Cecilia Music Center featuring David Finckel and Wu Han, Co-Artistic Directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center.

Finckel, cello and Wu Han, piano will be joined by Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center esteemed musicians Arnaud Sussmann, violin and Matthew Lipman, viola. This final Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center program for the season will feature Beethoven’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in A Major, Op. 69 (1807-08), Brahms’ Scherzo, WoO 2, from “F-A-E” Sonata for Violin and Piano (1853), Schumann’s Quartet in E-flat major for Piano, Violin, Viola, and Cello, Op. 47 (1842) and Martinů’s Duo No. 1 for Violin and Viola, “Three Madrigals” (1950)*

Tickets for the April 23, 2015 concert are $40 for A section seats and $35 for B section seats. Student tickets are $10 and are available only on the day of the concert. The performance will be followed by a complementary post-concert reception to meet all four of the artists. St. Cecilia Music Center also offers a pre-concert reception at 6:00 pm which is free to subscribers or $15 for single ticket holders and includes wine and hors d’oeuvres.
