Bottle and Can return begins today, and are we glad. Are yours running all over the place? Me too. Stores are limiting how many you can take back at once, dollar wise, $25 at a time, but hey, it's a huge start. However, are you feeling a little benevolent? You'd like to help make a life better? Here is the answer!

A local non-profit is hoping you’ll donate yours to help addicts in recovery.

It's the Alano Club of Kent County and they help people fight their addictions.

Fox17 reported that the Alano Club shut its doors for three months due to the pandemic which is why it’s now asking for help with a can drive.

There is a bin outside the club on College Avenue Northeast.

From 9am to 1pm, Monday through Friday, you can make your can and bottle donation through at least the end of June.

It's an expensive project helping recovering addicts, and the Alano Club hopes that many people will feel it in their hearts to help with they cans and bottles. There are 17 programs that help those in need. No one pays for programs and services, so it's the donations that keep the doors open.

No one pays for services so all donations really help.

The Alano Club is slowly opening, keeping a safe environment, and will be expanding it hours slowly. Recovery is a tough, rough road, but it's possible with the help of the Alano Club.
