Dan Gheesling is considered by many to be the best player in Big Brother history.

Gheesling has played twice. He won by unanimous vote in Season 10 and finished second in Season 14.

Big Brother 16 Houseguest Derrick Levasseur is drawing comparisons to Gheesling both inside and outside the Big Brother house.

What does Gheesling think about the comparisons?

On Wednesday night's show, houseguest Nicole Franzel (a native of Ubly, Michigan) was shown privately speaking to Derrick about how good he was playing.

Nicole talked about how every move Derrick was making has a purpose and compared Derrick's play to Gheesling's.

Derrick thanked Nicole for the compliment, but privately told Big Brother cameras that the comparisons were bad news. Derrick said if word of those comparisons spread around the house he would be the next to go home.

It appeared Nicole might be safe for the week until she made the comments. After hearing the comparisons Derrick began to work to get her voted out of the house.

Derrick seems to have a knack for controlling what happens in the house without anyone even realizing he's doing it.

Many who watch the show have noticed and have been making the same comparisons to Dan.

Watch what Dan thinks about the comparisons.

It's fair to say Derrick needs to win to earn the comparison.

It's also worth noting that Dan said Derrick could become "one of the best single season winners in recent memory, especially in the past 4-5 years."

Dan won 6 years ago.

Good to see Dan hasn't lost his competitive spirit, but there's no doubt he's a fan of Derrick's.

Derrick has faced some adversity this season, but has been able to recognize it soon enough to stop it. Wednesday night's show featured that ability.

If Derrick does win, there's no doubt he should be considered one of the best all-time players right along with Dan Gheesling and Dr. Will Kirby.
